Starting from scratch, creating a prosperous business

It has been nearly 40 years since the establishment of Hong Kong Yaqi Group. I dare not lightly talk about its brilliant achievements and accomplishments both domestically and internationally, but looking back on its 40 year development process, I do have some feelings.

Yaqi Group started as a one person company, starting from manufacturing manual blow molding toy machinery. Today, it has established a complete product line: from high-speed blow molding machines, fully electric blow molding machines, to blow molding machines for eye drops containers and 2000 liter large container blow molding machines, the production scale and capacity of various products are fully equipped, and both the quality and speed are no less than high-end blow molding machines in the European and American markets.

In the process of development, Yaqi Group has invested huge resources in continuous improvement and research and development of products, always adhering to the business and management philosophy of "competing for the market with quality, ensuring profitability with management, and seeking development through talent". The new labor laws implemented in the Chinese market in recent years have changed the overall industrial environment, resulting in a shortage of labor resources, skyrocketing wages, and a significant increase in enterprise costs. Therefore, without high-quality automated production machinery, we are destined to lose competitiveness and gradually be eliminated by the market. Yaqi Group's fully automatic bottle blowing machine has long pursued lean production. Our fully automatic bottle blowing technology has become very mature, resulting in a continuous increase in orders and market share.

In the past decade, Yaqi Group has struggled to develop domestic and international markets, with little perseverance or persistence. As the saying goes, 'the times make heroes.' I firmly believe that 'if you do well in yourself every day, the results will eventually be rewarded.' Personally, I believe that the performance of Yaqi Group today is not a brilliant achievement, but it must be a small reward for decades of hard work and entrepreneurship.

A difficult journey, two twists and turns

I have experienced two unforgettable turning points in my entrepreneurial journey. From 1967 to 1972, during its first successful entrepreneurship, Yaqi Group unfortunately experienced challenges caused by the rapid increase in plastic production, rapid expansion, and sluggish market contraction due to the Gulf War between the United States and Iran. Without economic support, it was finally unable to withstand the impact and ended up in bankruptcy.

With a resolute and unyielding attitude, I achieved my second entrepreneurship in 1974, embarking on a difficult entrepreneurial journey again from scratch. However, my personal weakness lies in my ambitious and never give up personality, as well as some unrealistic economic conditions. Therefore, in 1981, Yaqi Group encountered another danger. Due to the economic imbalance caused by rapid development, the court has decided to liquidate the company before 5 pm on a certain day, provided that the company's loan issue cannot be resolved. On the same day when I returned home, in order not to worry my family, I forced a smile and concealed the truth while having dinner with my wife and children. The taste of this experience still lingers in my memory. After my family fell asleep, I stayed up all night, stirring my brain but unable to solve the problem, and my whole state was on the brink of mental breakdown. In the three hours leading up to the liquidation, there was no dead end to the road. After learning about it, my friend pulled out a knife to help Yaqi Group escape danger under the attack of a thousand soldiers. These two moments are unforgettable hardships for me since the founding of Yaqi Group.

Brand building and winning reputation

Establishing a brand is like giving your son a name. Whether your son will succeed or not in the future depends on innate conditions, postnatal development, and the child's own efforts. The establishment of a brand is no exception, as building a good brand inevitably requires a lot of time and labor costs. By overcoming all difficulties, creating unique advantages, silently cultivating, striving for excellence, and emphasizing reputation, a brand will gradually grow. Standing on our feet, looking forward to the future

Yaqi brand hopes to become globally renowned and achieve industry recognition in the future. Our current plan is to invest heavily and reduce production costs to correspondingly lower product prices; Cooperate with banks to achieve installment payments, so that customers who are short of funds can also enjoy Yaqi's high-quality bottle blowing machines; Working hand in hand with both large and small customers, we aim to elevate the level of our products and technologies in the market, while always adhering to our corporate social responsibility.

I would like to say that the Chinese market and its participants have not yet grown to a fully mature and rational stage. In the injection molding industry, some customers only focus on price and have a weak awareness of quality requirements for products or technology. The rule of "the one with the lowest price wins" leads to the behavior of "price competition", which triggers a vicious cycle of competitive thinking; Only by focusing on quality can we achieve healthy competition and development, and healthy competition and development are the bright path of the market, which can promote the common and sustainable progress of the industry and market. Therefore, while focusing on reasonable pricing of products, Yaqi Group attaches greater importance to the quality of products and technology, and insists on not sacrificing product level to gain market share. Instead, it reduces user costs through efficient technological levels and gains potential market competitiveness.

I am not a successful leader, but I can say a few words from the heart of those who are on the brink of success. I firmly believe that there is no dead end to the road, and I do not deliberately become a billionaire or a person above ten thousand people. Instead, I entrust everything to chance. Hong Kong's richest man Li Ka shing never predicted today's achievements when he was young, but he has gained wealth and experience along the way. I always remain calm and firmly believe that if you do your best every day, the results will eventually repay you.

Life is full of ups and downs, and each year is full of ups and downs

I dare not be an entrepreneur, a charismatic personality, or a wise thinker. But I can tell you that I have always been easy-going, tolerant, and truthful in my dealings with others. I have never abused my principles and always put my own interests in a secondary position. I maintain a positive attitude of progress at all times. Living happily is the pinnacle of life and my relentless pursuit. We need to know that living happily does not necessarily rely on having billions of wealth, nor does it necessarily rely on being above tens of thousands of people. In fact, we can have fun in our busy schedule, in our troubles, and in our hardships. As the saying goes, contentment brings happiness, and your inner demons will stay away from you. As long as you remove your inner demons, everything you do will bring happiness.
